Gary Thomas: Artist and Filmmaker I have built the skills and experience needed to make narrative & experimental films and am especially interested in story structure and creating characters. Most of my work stems from my writing, and is largely inspired by my own experiences. Madness as a Form of Relaxation is a collaboration between myself & Abigail Norris, and was funded by ACE. Early One Summer was my first narrative short film and was sold to US Distributors in 2008. I am currently writing my first feature screenplay and recently visited LA where I pitched the idea to several major companies, some of whom showed an interest in the project. I work with adults with disabilities as well as for different organisations, and have been funded By Dada-South, Arts Council, Unltd & Screen South. |
