Dada-Exchange
PUSH4Culture Pilot Programme
Dada-South held the first PUSH creative career seminar in November in partnership with ENHAM, an organisation based in Southampton, which provides opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged young people.
20 young people worked with Artist Advisors Jon Adams and Dave Dixon to explore creative opportunities, through artist talks and presentations, Q&A sessions and practical arts based workshops. Feedback from the young people was really positive and for most of them it was the first time they had been able to meet artists, try something creative and consider creative career opportunities. One young person has now joined Dada-Exchange to access ongoing 1-1 support with an Artist Advisor and Dada-South and ENHAM are committed to working together in the future to develop further opportunities. Please visit our galleries for more images of the day.
Future PUSH seminars are currently being planned including an event on Monday 1st March in Portsmouth at The Space, in partnership with Portsmouth University.
